Boy was the State Fair a rip off! All the rides were really expensive and the ride I really wanted to go on - that was 4 tickets - only lasted about 2 minutes. All the really cool rides were in the back and very expensive. The best ride was 75 dollars just to get on! They didn't sell wristbands on that day and even if they did, more than half the rides wouldn't allow you to use them. So the State Fair was pretty much a big rip off. I hope next year that it will be changed.
This picture is one of the only fun parts of the State Fair. It was a little corn box in one of the museums.

Tip: don't go to the State Fair.

Welcome back to blog land - I've been waiting!
The box of corn is always way cool, and free. How about the trains - you should have looked for those. The animals are also really neat - especially where you get to vote for your favorite. On top of that, you did get to escape school for a little while, so even if you didn't get to go on some rides, there were lots of really cool things to do and see if you are willing to remember them.
Now that you are the daredevil ride master, I expect no whining or avoiding when we go to the real amusement parks in CA in October!!
